Deutschland geschmuggelt werden musste, die Gastfreundschaft
des Sheik von Abu Dhabi, eine Komparsen-Meuterei auf einem Flugfeld,
eine defekte Kamera mitten in der Wüste von Marokko, Regisseure,
die sich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes auf den Boden warfen ...

My profession has brought me the best and the worst experiences
of my life:  filmstock that had to be smuggled from Sri Lanka to
Germany by the German embassy,  the hospitality of the Sheik of
Abu Dhabi, a mutiny of angry extras at an airfield, a broken camera
in the middle of Morocco's desert, directors literally throwing
themselves on the ground...
